So you asked for the first things that come to mind: First thoughts are: Whoa, this is overexposed, but on second thought, oh well, only the sky and sun are, the rest looks pretty good. I wouldn’t do something like that, but maybe the overexposure is exactly what makes this photo interesting. Also I like the low saturation of the greens, give it an interesting film-like look.
Thanks for your comments and thoughts, Alex! I tried to edit the photo in the same way I saw it in that situation: Overexposed with a focus on the trees and bushes around the stairs. My neighborhood is just so nice in summer sunset light! :)
